Waterdown Rotary wraps up summerDuring the summer months (and following our hugely successful Oh Canada Ribfest), Waterdown Rotarians hosted and attended a series of social events in lieu of our regular business meetings. Through July and August, we welcomed youths visiting on short-term exchange, celebrated the return home of local students Megan Heary and Tia Kozell, who spent the past year in Spain and Japan, respectively, and said goodbye to our outgoing exchange student Keegan Bajc, who left in mid August to spend the 2019-2020 school year studying in Japan. As well, we bid farewell to Victoria Stark and Nico Zarza, who returned home after their year of youth exchange in Canada. Finally, following tradition, Waterdown Rotary Club members hosted our seniors corn roast, which featured lots of great food, prizes and fun for everyone. Regular Rotary business meetings resume in September. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
