The third-generation leader of the Krpan Group, John Krpan, shared his company's investment at Clappison's Corners over the past 20 years, along with heir plans for a massive mixed-use development on the site.
The Krpan Group is behind the iConnect project at Highways 5 & 6, which will feature thousands of new homes, employment, transportation, retail and recreation.
Krpan talked about the company's transition from the big box retail vision of the early 2000s to a plan to create a "complete community" at the Waterdown site. He's worked with the city for the past eight years to secure all necessary zoning and permits, and the project recently received approval at the Ontario Land Tribunal.
