Rotarians were hard at work on Operation Christmas Cheer following their Dec. 4 meeting.
On Monday, at a special meeting, 19 Rotarians and one friend were at the Rotary Garden Court and personalized some 500 donated Christmas cards for distribution to several community groups in Waterdown.
A friendly Christmas message was added to each card and the envelope was then decorated with a sweet or a candy cane.
Among the recipients were the Flamborough Food Bank, Food with Grace, Alexander Place, Village Manor and Waterdown Manor.
The Clubs thanks the Waterdown community for the donation of the cards.
