Cycos May Ride |
Post Meeting CoffeeAnyone is welcome to stay at East Pier after Rotary for a cup of coffee and chat. Please join us on Wednesday morning. |
Cycos Ride May 2022On Tuesday 03 May, the Ahuriri Sunrise CYCOS met at the Star Compass to begin the ride from there to Haumoana Coffee for lunch. A beautiful HB Autumn day made the ride a good one and the cheese scones in the sun at lunch seemed to be a hit (at our table anyway!). |

HNR RaffleDuring the past 18 months the covid pandemic has impacted many of the traditional projects that our Rotary clubs are involved with and we hope that better days will return soon. We trust that our Hawkes Bay region manages to remain free from the spread of the pandemic and that our clubs can continue to support the community. For the past 25 years, Havelock North Rotary Club has very successfully held an annual trailer raffle, with tickets being sold at the entrances of supermarkets and other businesses. Due to the current pandemic restrictions, many of the usual selling sites are now unavailable. The club members have seen this as an opportunity to raise the much needed funds in a different way, so this year many of the tickets will be sold online. We would appreciate it if would ask your club members, along with their family and friends, to check out the raffle web page - https://rotaryhavelocknorth.org.nz/xmas-raffle-online/ The first prize is a trailer filled with grocery items and the second prize is an amazing fishing kayak. We can arrange delivery of these prizes to the lucky winners to anywhere in the 9930 district. |

World Polio DayEvery year, the Rotary community mobilizes for World Polio Day to raise awareness about global efforts to end polio for good. If we stay committed, we can make polio the second human disease ever to be eradicated. The Rotary Club of Ahuriri Sunrise fundraises each year to contribute to the eradication of Polio. The next fundraiser will be our TheatreHB premiere night; The Wedding Singer. Please make certain you have booked and paid for your ticket. Thank you in anticipation of your support. |
