The Thousand Oaks Rotary Club Hosts the 33rd Annual Economic Outlook Forecast
A Morning with Special Guests and a Timely Topic

The Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks recently hosted the 33rd annual Economic Outlook Forecast event that brought together a panel of experts who presented, discussed, and took audience questions about the local economy, with a theme of the economics of insurance that many residents, businesses, and agencies are facing. Known for their commitment to service and fellowship, the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks organized this annual event in keeping with their dedication to making a positive impact in the community.

The event took place at the Lundring Events Center at California Lutheran University and was chaired and moderated by Dr. Victor P. Hayek, Deputy Superintendent of the Conejo Valley Unified School District and Rotary Club member.

The distinguished experts included Dr. Mathew Fienup, Executive Director of the Center for Economic Research and Forecasting (CERF) at California Lutheran University, Bill Matlock, District Manager for Farmer’s Insurance, Rosemary Allison, a Real Estate expert and elected Councilwoman on the Santa Rosa Valley MAC, and Elizabeth Melvin-Atilano, Executive Director for the Ventura County Schools Self Funding Authority.
