FLY THE FLAG FUNDRAISER 2026
 
The 4th annual Rotary Club of Olds
 Flag fundraiser is now open!
 
Show your Community Spirit, and at the same time,
raise funds for local community and international projects
supported by the Rotary Club of Olds.
Recent recipients include: Hope 4 MVC Kids, Mountain View Emergency Shelter,
1st Olds Scouts building repair, Henry’s Christmas, Special Olympics Bowling,
the Ukraine Rehab Hospital, youth leadership camps and scholarships
and many more worthy community and youth projects.
 
Purchasing a ticket for $75 will give you a 3' x 5' Canadian Flag
installed on your front lawn.
 
The flag will be installed a week before the
May Long Weekend and will be picked up the week after Canada Day.

Rotary Dragons Den - Third Season

The Rotary Club of Olds is happy to announce another Rotary Dragon's Den for community groups/clubs seeking finances for their projects.  Awards up to $2500 will be made to successful applicants who pitch their proposal at our Dragon’s Den. Apply Here 
 
When: March 12 2026 
Time: 7-9 pm 
Where: Olds Air Cadet Hall
Located between Olds Sportsplex (Arena & Curling Rink) and Olds Municipal Library.

Fall Harvest Gala with Hope 4 MVC Society

The Rotary Club of Olds is proud to partner with Hope 4 MVC Kids Society to present our signature fundraising event of the year — the Fall Harvest Gala, taking place on Saturday, November 8th at the beautiful Willow Lane Barn.


This exciting evening will feature a delicious dinner, thrilling live auction, games of chance, and dancing into the night — all in support of an incredibly meaningful cause.
Proceeds from the Gala will directly benefit Hope 4 MVC Kids and the Rotary Club’s ongoing support of community initiatives.
Hope 4 MVC Kids Society provides vital assistance to families in Mountain View County who are caring for children with serious medical needs. These families often face unexpected financial burdens, and your support helps the Society cover costs ranging from travel and parking, childcare and meals, assessments, therapies, and adaptive equipment not covered by health plans.

We invite you to support this event by purchasing limited tickets and attending this memorable night, or through a charitably receipted donation via cheque or e-transfer to treasurer@hope4mvckids.org. Please mention “Harvest Gala” in any e-transfers sent. We are still accepting donations for silent and live auction items.

Subscriptions to the first annual Rotary Club of Olds Canadian Flag fundraiser are open now! Limited to the first 100 subscribers, so don't wait!
 
Under this program, Rotarians will install a Canadian flag on your lawn in celebration of Victoria Day, May 22nd and Canada Day July 1st, collecting them after each weekend. The cost is $75.00, if you reserve your flag after Victoria Day the charge for Canada Day will be $40.00

Rotary Creek Enhancement project

We sat as a group, often at the absolutely stunning Rotary Athletic Park, thinking of ways that we can create positive change in our community. It was important to us that we find a project that allowed the entire community to be engaged. We wanted a hands on project that did more than fundraise for money. We would fundraise for time, and energy and people who wanted to get their hands dirty with us. Many of the discussions lead to us looking at the Rotary Olds Creek Enhancement Project.

The Rotary Club of Olds (Cheryl Naglis) presents Pam Ison-Reilander, of the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) with a cheque. Rotary is a proud fundraising and community partner with STARS.
