Bloomingdale Roselle Rotary Helps Local Food PantryThe Bloomingdale-Roselle Rotary club in partnership with the Bloomingdale Public Library, Village of Bloomingdale, Bloomingdale Park District, Village of Roselle, Roselle Park District, and the Roselle Public Library District, would like to thank all residents who participated and donated to our April 2012 community-wide food drive. A total of 2,539 items and $100 in monetary contributions were donated to the Bloomingdale Township Food Pantry, which services 3,400 people in a year. Food drives in the spring and summer months are critical for replenishing our local food bank for families that may depend on food assistance. Your support and donation directly helps these families that may be struggling during this time of economic uncertainty. Thank you again for your contribution and for all the agencies that sponsored this food drive. |
