Bloomingdale–Roselle Rotary continued our partnership with students from Westfield Middle School as part of our regular “Rotary on the Road” service project series. Today was particularly special as we inaugurated our first Interact club with District 15 Westfield as well. Additionally the kids learned about Rotary and what we do; and about the plants and animals that are found in neighborhood parks. The Club members and the kids joined in tasks such as picking up trash, and just observing nature during our lunch hour. This service project was also part of The Green Apple Day of Service, sponsored by The Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council.
