Bloomingdale-Roselle Rotary partners with Westfield School to clean the Park !

Bloomingdale–Roselle Rotary teamed up with 6^th graders from Westfield Middle School as part of our regular “Rotary on the Road” service project series.  Today was an educational and environmental outreach project as the kids learned about Circle Park, The Rotary and what we do, and about nature and the plants and animals that are found in neighborhood parks. The Club members and the kids joined together in tasks such as picking up trash, pruning trees, raking mulch, and just observing nature during our lunch hour.  This service project was also part of The Green Apple Day of Service, sponsored by The Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council.
