2026 Bark-in-the-Park: Save the Date

Save the date. The 2026 Bark-in-the-Park will be Saturday, September 26, 11-2 at Kochville Park in Saginaw. Stay tuned for more details. This is a fun-filled, family- and dog-friendly event that brings our community together for a great cause. Registration will be free.

Fostering Hope through Backpacks

Fostering Hope is an ongoing Backpack project partnered with DHHS in Saginaw. The project provides the “First Nights Stay” for children who are in a Child Protective Services/ Removal/ Foster Care situation. The backpacks are packed with essentials for the night. Pajamas, underwear, socks, a toy, and age appropriate toiletries. The program, which started in 2019, delivered over 155 backpacks in its first full year. The Club has continued this program into 2025. This project has been funded by Club fundraisers and private Rotarian donations.

Little Free Library

The Saginaw Sunrise Rotary Club sponsors a “Little Free Library” at Krossroads Park near the Rainbows End playground in Kochville Township. The Library is a book exchange for children to encourage reading. It has a "take a book, leave a book" policy, although it is perfectly all right to take the book home as well. Come check it out.
