Fostering Hope Backpacks

Fostering Hope is a Backpack project partnered with DHHS in Saginaw.  The project is meant to provide the “First Nights Stay” for children who are in a Child Protective Services/ Removal/ Foster Care situation. The back packs are packed with essentials for the night.  Pajamas, underwear, socks, a toy, and age appropriate toiletries.  The program has delivered over 155 back packs to date, starting last year.  

This project has been funded by Club fundraisers and private Rotarian donations.
