Rotarians in the Louisiana Tangi Territory, from Ponchatoula to Kentwood, invite you to join with us to make this year’s Toys for Tots a wonderful experience for the participating children and their families.
The Amite Rotary Club has partnered with the Independence Chamber of Commerce and “Toys for Tots” to expand the program to include arts and crafts, decorating cookies and entertainment. We also hope to raffle Christmas plants and trees for the families as part of “the Christmas Miracle.” Could you help us double our funds? For example, our budget is about $500 for food, decorations, Christmas plants and entertainment. But with either your financial support, donations of these items or discount on the purchase of these types of items, we could provide more assistance and better quality.
Of course, cash donations will be gratefully accepted and should be made payable to Amite Rotary Foundation, a 501(c)(3) entity, and mailed to PO Box 721, Amite, La.
