Coastal MS Vaccination Event

Join the Rotary Clubs along the MS Gulf Coast either as a volunteer, as a vaccine-getter, or as an event publicizer.

Singing River Health Systems is holding two events from 9am-11am on Saturday, April 24, and administering the 1st dose of the Pfizer vaccine.  Rotarians are asked to help as volunteers on the day but MORE IMPORTANTLY as public health influencers and advocates.  The vaccines have been available to the MS 16 and over population for weeks now but we are a long way from achieving significant vaccination rates.  Rotarians are being asked to help bring people to the vaccination centers and to encourage more of your friends, neighbors, and social groups to get vaccinated.

The second doses will be adminstered on Saturday, May 15 in the same locations.  Please register for a specific time if you are getting vaccinated.  If you are volunteering, please get in touch with any of the Rotary Clubs along the Gulf Coast.  Please share the facebook event on the District facebook page -- there is one event for the Gautier location and another for the Gulfport location.  Please wear your Rotary shirt/hat and play an important role in strengthening our communities.
