Welcome to our club!
Our Rotary meeting today took us on the road to Ottumwa High School, where we toured several of their impressive new facilities.
Rotary wrapped up another successful Rotary Chicken Barbecue. Thanks to our members, volunteers and the community for coming out to support our 45th annual event. 
We had the pleasure of welcoming District 6000 Governor Norlan Hinke.
Lucas, Gavin, Camden, and Nik from “Da Boiz” Lemonade Stand were presented with the “Service Above Self” award from Ottumwa’s Lemonade Day last month.
Rotarians participated in Ottumwa High School Scholarship Fair and Ottumwa Leadership Academy "Get on Board" Events. 
Rotarian Jessica McCullen was awarded the Paul E. Hellwege Guardian of Integrity Award, named after the late District Governor Paul Hellwege (1954-55).
Ottumwa Rotary donated $25,000 to the Southeast Iowa JBS Sports Complex and Rotarians were able to tour the brand new facility.

Congratulations to Marc Roe and Steve Campbell on their recent Paul Harris Fellow awards. Marc was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow and Steve was awarded the Paul Harris +3 Pin.
Proceeds from the annual Rotary Chicken Barbecue were dispersed to thank volunteers for their hard work at the event. Thank you for the dedication OHS Cheerleaders and Wapello County 4-H.
As another year wraps up, we celebrated the passing of the gavel and the induction of new officers. Congratulations to President Scott Hallgren, President-Elect Shea Greiner, and our three new Directors to the Board: Joy Alexander, David Helgerson, and David Niño-Liu.
Recently, some of our members awarded River Hills Community Health Center Pediatrics department with a grant for new books for their patients. This is a great way to help little ones feel comfortable before appointments and they are always excited to be able to take a book home with them!
Our two newest Rotarians were Inducted! William Kiefer is the CEO at Ottumwa Regional Health Center (sponsored by Tom Lazio). David Niño-Liu is a small business owner in Downtown Ottumwa (sponsored by John Helgerson). Welcome to Rotary!
