SOCKS FOR VETSSOCKS FOR VETERANS
December 1, 2014
![]() At what has become an annual event the Burlington High School Rotary Interact Club, which our club sponsors, presented veterans from the Bedford Veterans Administration Hospital with over 450 pairs of white athletic socks and also gave them a financial donation along with hand made holiday cards. Three veterans attended who spoke about their experiences at war. One of them was 20 years old during the Vietnam war and had lost 3 limbs. The socks were all contributed by Rotarians and local residents and businesses.
