Event Description: Thank you for helping us Rock the Block in 2019!
This event is all about bringing communities together and promoting healthy neighborhoods! Months before the event, our staff meets and surveys the existing neighbors in the areas we serve. With your help, we will work side by side with neighbors doing a variety of tasks. From light repairs, general yard and park clean-up, painting, staining, to landscaping, our volunteers do it all! At the end of the day, the neighborhood shines a little brighter, and new relationships are made.
Tools and supplies are supplied by Habitat. Volunteers just need to wear closed toed shoes or boots We will need a total of 10 volunteers with each volunteer needing to sign up with the below link at least 2 weeks prior to May 18th. |

As one of our Club Service Projects, our club both helps plant the flags and remove the flags that each year has commemorated the people who perished in the 9/11 bombings. We can use your help on Friday, September 6 to set up the flags. We plan on starting at about 3:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome. If you are a new member, this counts as a Community Service Project. It is also worth attendance credit. If you have a Rotary shirt please wear it. |
