Saving Smiles, Grand Prairie Rotary Club's Outreach![]() Grand Prairie Rotarian, Mike Hasty shared with us his club's outreach efforts to Grand Prairie ISD schools and Nicaragua kiddos in Managua. The program is called "Saving Smiles". Hasty's club is planning to go to Managua later this year to take care of the kids' teeth and to build a Water Well. They are hoping that their outreach efforts will inspire other Rotarians and they'll gain additional volunteers. |

Plano Rotarians Build Children’s Clinic![]()
The Plano Rotary Club, with the assistance of other district clubs, takes on the challenge of building a Children's Clinic to assist kids without insurance or any access to conventional medical care. Starting with $10,000 in seed money, a dream, and a great deal of determination, the club was able to build a facility that continues to make a difference in the lives of children.

Susan Shuler, President, The Plano Rotary Club announced today the decision of the Board of Directors to fund ShelterBox tents and supplies to the Haitian relief effort. The initial contribution will provide shelter and living supplies for up to 20 people.
