Rotary in action…well, sort of. We stopped long enough for a photo!

Rockton-Roscoe Rotarians were out enjoying the Fall Festival Lions Parade—passing out candy, connecting with our neighbors, and being part of one of the traditions that makes our community such a great place to live.

Because Rotary isn’t just about meetings. It’s about showing up, pitching in, and having some fun along the way.

Thanks to everyone who represented Rockton-Roscoe Rotary and helped us spread a little Rotary spirit (and a lot of candy!) through the streets.

2024 Roscoe Lions Club Fall Festival
Another successful Roscoe Lions Club Fall Festival parade!
 
Thank you to the volunteers and the Lions Club for continuing this fantastic tradition and event.
 
We had a blast walking down Main Street tossing (gently :)) candy to the children (and adults) enjoying the parade.

Rockton-Roscoe Rotary Makes Masks
The Rockton-Roscoe Rotary club participated in an area-wide mask-making project organized by the Rockford Rotary Club.  Congratulations to the local Rotary clubs for finishing 3,000 face shields for local healthcare facilities! We had a great time sharing stories as we assembled the shields. Good times!

Rotary Challenge - 70 in 7
The Rockton-Roscoe Rotary Club and the Loves Park Rotary Club have joined forces to support the Rockford Rescue Mission.  The Rotary Challenge 70 in 7 was launched April 2, 2020.  The goal is to reach 70 donations in 7 days to support homelessness in Rockford.  As the world slows down, homelessness does not stop.

Press Release:
Roscoe, IL: The Northern Winnebago County Rotary Club members voted unanimously to change their name to the Rockton-Roscoe Rotary Club.  The club will continue to serve the Rockton, Roscoe, South Beloit and Shirland communities.

Serving at Carpenter's Place
 
Northern Winnebago County Rotary Club served this morning at the Carpenter's Place Outreach in Rockford, Illinois.  Carpenter's Place is an outreach organization that provides individuals with the tools necessary for rebuilding the lives of homeless adults.

Roscoe Fall Festival Parade
Roscoe Fall Festival Parade was a great event where the Rotary club showed off their candy-throwing techniques.  The parade was attended by hundreds even with the rain.  What a great way to showcase Rotary and enjoy a day in the community.
