 We are DARK this week as we encourage all TDRC Members to join the District 5190 Conference in Fallon, NV. We'll plan fun gatherings along with the great group Rotary events planned for the weekend. If you haven't been to a DC, it's really a great opportunity to see more about what Rotary does outside of our own clubs. Registration is required and the link is below. An Evening at the Tahoe Branch of Douglas County Library
 We heard from Douglas County Library Director Tim DeGhelder recently on all the activity the Douglas County libraries have going on, and it was eye opening! The Friends of the Library asked TDRC to help them add AV Equipment to the Zephyr Cove Library's conference room and we did!  Gaming has changed all over the country, and not just in Nevada. The industry has had to pivot to stay relevant and we can see it as casinos and resorts enhance other avenues of their entertainment portfolios. What has this meant for the Tahoe casinos and resorts, and what do they have planned to keep building on their tourism and entertainment models? The Oroville Dam Disaster - An Evening at the Fire Station
 TDRC has a special event on Thursday, May 29th as we are guests for dinner and a great presentation at the Tahoe Douglas Fire Station in Zephyr Cove. Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Lawson was part of the rescue operations at the Oroville, CA dam failure in 2017 that prompted evacuation of over 180,000 people. Come have dinner at the station and join in fellowship and a great program from Kevin! We'll want RSVP's for this one so please email Tim timtdrotary@gmail.com
