This guided walking tour of Munich by Ms. Bettina Lerchenmüller will focus on Italian influences on Munich history and architecture. Since the number of participants for this guided walking tour is limited to 25 we ask you to please register for yourself and any guests as soon as possible. Should more than 25 participants rush to register for this event, we would have an option to engage a second tour guide. It is therefore truly important to get an early indication of the number of registrations/participants, preferably before next Monday (July 17th). We will start this walking tour at Odeonsplatz (come rain or shine) at 7 p.m. sharp. Following the tour - which may last between an hour and 90 minutes - we plan to go as a group to a local restaurant to finish out the evening together.

We are happy to start the first of a series of joint RC events with a meeting at the beergarten "Hirschgarten" (Hirschgarten 1, 80639 München) together with the members of RC Bogenhausen, RC Hogarten and RC Lehel. There is no designated meeting point, but we trust that Rotarians will somehow gravitate together. If there are any issues, however, please contact Steven on his mobile at +49 1522 893 2778. If for any reason the event needs to be changed or cancelled due to poor weather conditions, we will broadcast a WhatsApp message on the day of the event. So please check your messages next Monday for any updates, should this be required.

Dear Friends, this is the first so-called "Chimney Event" in the new Rotarian year. Contrary to the title of this event, it commonly has nothing to do with the burning of fossil fuels but rather with the streghthening of our fellowship - hence a very sustainable activity. The registration for this event is now open and I would ask both potential guests and hosts to please register, including any partners or honored guests who may wish to take part. I would encourage any potential hosts to open their homes for members and guests, as this will certainly be a rewarding experience for all concerned. If you are willing to act as host for this event please send me a separate e-Mail (steven@bechhofer.eu) following your registration indicating the maximum number of possible guests. All guests with dietary needs should similarly inform me per separate e-Mail. We would then coordinate the assignment of all the registered guests to the appropriate host.
