The Waterton Glacier International Peace Park Association was founded in 1931 by Rotarians from Canada and the United States. Nearly 100 members from clubs across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Montana established the Peace Park idea to celebrate the long-lasting relationship of peace and goodwill between the two nations.
