Picard High School, Vimy Ridge Academy, and W.P. Wagner High School.

INTERACT CLUBS
Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club that gives young people ages 12-18 an opportunity to participate in fun and meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends. The basic principle of the Rotary Interact is to help others. Their motto is “service above self”.
The Rotary Club of Edmonton Strathcona sponsors two Interact Clubs, one at J Percy Page High School and another at WP Wagner High School.  These High School students meet regularly to plan and carry out fund raising activities to support their local and international humanitarian projects.

RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) is a one-day leadership conference primarily for Interact students.  Usually held in the fall, RYLA is packed with speakers and workshops designed to develop personal and leadership skills.

RYLE (Rotary Youth Leadership Experience) is an annual conference for students in grades 9 to 12 usually held in May.  This experience is intended for those young people “who would like to gain or strengthen their leadership skills and learn how to be active citizens who strive to make a positive impact in the world. The programming of the camp has three main focuses: interpersonal growth, communication, and community building and global citizenship.”

ADVENTURE CAMPS such as Adventures in Citizenship, hosted by the Ottawa Rotary Club, are made available when the opportunity presents itself.

Please note that our Club can only sponsor a limited number of students to attend these camps and it will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE   is a Rotary International program that provides High School students with an opportunity to be hosted by a Rotary Club in a foreign country for one year to gain a unique cultural experience.
