This amazing youth program led by youth is a day for learning, growth and leadership! Support our youth!

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Institute brings Interact Club executives from across District 5370 together for a one day developmental conference packed with workshops and speakers intended to empower confidence and teach vital skills required by those stepping into leadership positions in their clubs.

This year's Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Institute emphasizes developing soft skills necessary for high school aged youth to lead in their local communities, specifically in their Rotary Interact Clubs. In this one day developmental conference packed with workshops and speakers, we aim to empower confidence and teach vital skills required by those stepping into leadership positions in their clubs. From learning skills such as project management, public speaking, and how to engage a team, we aim to provide a highly interactive day of learning and fun with a variety of facilitators and speakers throughout the local community.

One of the most promising aspects of the conference is that it allows for students in Interact clubs across the District to meet and share ideas and strategies and build relations with one another. These connections allow Interact Clubs to not only be exposed to new ideas and learn from one another’s experience, but to promote cooperation and support between clubs throughout the year.

RYLA 2020

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) brings together Interact club members from all across District 5370 for a one day online leadership conference packed with workshops and speakers to teach students the vital skills required to succeed in leadership positions and  grow confidence.

This year RYLA will be held over zoom, inviting students to further their personal development and leadership abilities in a safe way. Register Here

One of RYLA’s most promising aspects is that it allows for like minded Interact Club members across the district to meet, cultivate and share ideas and learn from one another. Though we are operating online this year, this mission to establish a bright future for young rotary leaders through interaction in this way will still be possible! Cooperation will be encouraged and each participant can expect to feel as supported and heard as they would in person.

Watch for more information to come in early fall for RYLA 2021!
