This year we are focusing on a project to help provide primary school students with essential school equipment. Schools in low socio-economic areas often have students join their school in the middle of a term and the students arrive with little or no school equipment. Our goal is to provide enough back packs, pencil cases and other essential items such as toothbrushes and socks so that when a new student arrives schools can provide them with a pack on their arrival.
The night will be "Back 2 Skool" themed so wear your best first-day-of-term outfit, bring some money for the canteen and practice your quick-maths!
For the benefit of members, we will aim to give the Duty Roster a few weeks ahead - see below.

An elderly couple learned to send text messages on their mobile phones.
The wife, a retired college English instructor with emphasis on the Classics, was an unapologetic romantic; her husband, a retired Navy chief petty officer of thirty years' service, was a no-nonsense guy.
One afternoon the wife went to the local coffee shop to meet a friend. While awaiting her friend's arrival, she exercised her new skill by sending her husband a romantic text message: "If you are sleeping, send me your dreams. If you are laughing, send me your smile. If you are eating, send me a bite. If you are drinking, send me a sip.
If you are crying, send me your tears. I love you."
The husband responded: "I'm in the toilet. Please advise."
