Whilst we only had a very small number at our evening meeting last Wednesday, it was most enjoyable and thankyou to Rotaractors Karagh and Kirsty for bolstering our numbers.
Last Saturday we had a very successful morning weeding the front and back gardens at Catherine House thanks to Katrina, Christine, Andy, Karagh and myself. Now it is all ready for another Saturday morning working bee when we will need to spread a truck load of mulch across both gardens. Kym and myself will plan a date and attempt to give you plenty of notice, however I think that it will be in June.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to our bottles/cans collection. This Rotary year we budgeted to raise $650.00 and with two months left, we currently sit on approximately $550. So, if you know of any bags that need collecting please let me or Di know as it is not practical to bring them to the Ibis and we will organize something.
By the time you read this hopefully you will have read my email informing that very sadly our breakfast meeting planned for this Thursday 2nd. May has had to be cancelled due to a venue booking issue. If the Ibis can accommodate us next week, we will meet there for breakfast rather than gathering for a coffee conversation.
I will let everyone know as soon as I have confirmation from the Ibis.

Chairman: Meet/greet speaker for the meeting; introduce and thank speaker. Preparation:- find details about the speaker prior to the meeting. Attendance: Set up reception table (attendance sheet; members list – re -payments; guest welcome sheet; money; wine raffle sheet); register member payments/ apologies/ guests. Hosting: Set up name badges display; welcome all at the door; ensure speaker and guests are introduced to appropriatepersons.
