Thank you Pat Heuer and Red's Steak and BBQ for your generous donation to the 2015 Community Food Pantry Spaghetti Dinner!

Our club received on April 17, 2015, a Certificate of Appreciation & Gratitude on behalf of the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation Board of Trustees.

The Richmond-Spring Grove Area Rotary Club held its annual Auction on April 11, 2015 at Nippersink Golf Club and Resort.  

The doors opened and the Silent Auction began at 5:30 p.m.  Dinner was served at 6:00 p.m. and the Live Auction, with auctioneer Ron Erdmann, began at 7:00 p.m.  The evening had a Tropical theme, people came dressed in their Hawaiian shirts, shorts, and grass skirts.  Tickets were $45 per person.

 Four of our club members visited the Northern Illinois Helping Hands Food Pantry in Spring Grove today.  We received a warm reception and a guided tour of the facility.  We gave them a $500.00 donation today.  From left to right in the photo: Marina Morin, Tom Straley, Ed Schwitzer, Bob Gieser, David Bowers, Doug Petersen, Bryan Duplechin, Audrey Morin, Sue Schwitzer.  Special thanks to Dan Hartwig for spearheading the fundraiser that generated this donation. Helping feed our neighbors!

Our Vegetable garden is producing well.  All produce is being donated to our local food pantries.  There has been a great club effort.  Special thanks to project leaders Adrianne Adams and Jan Jetel.  

The Richmond-Spring Grove Area Rotary club presented an $18,000 check to the Richmond-Burton Community High School to purchase scoreboards for the new gym addition. Larry Jones, Rotary Club President presented the check to Tom Wisinski, School Board President at the June 20th School Board Meeting.
