Rich Schoeneman, Elliot Pinsel
Our club's 2022-2023 Installation Dinner this year was held Wednesday, June 22nd, at the home of previous club President Tom Zengeler. This traditional changing-of-the-guard was once again presented with good friendship and humor. The peaceful transfer of power was successful, symbolized by the gavel being passed from Rich to Elliot. President Schoeneman's closing remarks highlighted the club's successful fundraising efforts and continued commitment to service in the community. Rich's leadership focused on spreading the good word in every way possible, widening out sphere of influence, growing club membership, and growing our ability to assist those in need.
This year, the club welcomed 5 new members and 4 Paul Harris Fellows, took a leadership role in the District, implemented 8 service projects, supported Libertyville High School Interact Club and Service Partners of Lake County, made donations of $172,000+, and publicized all of these things. Our thanks to Rich for his leadership this year!
Notable mention for Patricia Bleck, she was named Rotarian of the Year for her fine support of the club. Congratulations Patricia!
