Cleveland Scout Hall

Saturday, 24 October, 8 am - 4 pm
Sunday, 25 October, 8 am - 12 pm

Our stock now numbers thousands of good quality books. We have over 20 different categories of books. Most of our sales are from the popular author stocks: Tom Clancy, James Patterson, Judy Nunn, Lianne Moriarty, John Grisham are just a few. We also have a large range (over a thousand) of adult fiction novels by many different authors.

We also have hundreds of books covering categories like history, cooking, craft, war, biographies, sci fi and a large supply of good quality children’s picture and chapter books.

Our Book Shed has hundreds of unusual categories of books as well as a great supply of gardening books in perfect condition. Bargains are plentiful from sales in the shed.

Children’s books are a real bargain.

Where does the money go?
The development of “Education and literacy” are areas of focus for Rotary. Our Bookfest funds go towards programs that develop reading and literacy education.

What a wonderful recognition for Linda Stone who has supported our Book shed and Bookfest's over many years. Linda attended to sort books on Mondays and also participated as a foundation member of Capalaba Probus Club at its formation. Just a snapshot of what Linda has done in our community with great attention to detail that has helped our Bookfest to grow and improve greatly and our Probus Club get established.
