RYTS is a leadership & development program with a focus on assisting the transition from one area of study into the next phase of life.  The program is delivered at a 6 day residential camp for students who are in the senior years of school (Year 11-12) or who are aged between 17-18 if not within a school system.

Participants will hear from inspiring guest speakers and participate in activities that will challenge them on many different levels.  Our program covers personal growth, teamwork, self awareness and practical skills for life after school.  Participants will also develop lifelong friendships and connections that will help them later in life.  A key element of RYTS is that the full details of the program are not shared pre-camp.  This allows participants to head to camp with an open mind and increases the value of the activities that are undertaken

REst Youth Cleveland Scout Group
Youth Cleveland Scout Group

We are very proud of our partnership with Cleveland Scout Group, they have supported us over recent years with allowing us to use their hall for our two bookfests each year.

We have space in the grounds to sort and store our book donations and our equipment. Their members volunteer to help us during the Book Fests and we assist them with helping with their Badge Work.

For us to have a permanent home for our Book Fest saves a lot of packing and moving. We will shortly be installing a Street Library on site.

Probus
Probus is Fun and Friendship in Retirement
Probus was formed 40 years ago by Rotary Australia and New Zealand.

The Rotary Club of Capalaba has sponsored and support the formation of six Probus Clubs in Redland City. Probus is designed to help retired and semi retired members of our community make new friends, listen to interesting guest speakers, learn a new skill, explore new interests and hobbies.

Probus clubs created avenues in our communities to address social isolation.  There is so much to choose from when you become a member of your local Probus Club.
