What has been the key factor contributing to my success.
I guess we as individuals view our "success" in different ways. Most often we seem to equate success with power, influence and material wealth and sometimes physical beauty and popularity. I can claim none of these. My own idea of my success is that I have earned the respect of most persons with whom I associate or e.g. meet briefly at the supermarket or the immigration checkpoint on returning home from a trip. The warm and friendly greetings bolster my self-esteem. This may seem like an oversimplification but one has to constantly work at it, show respect for others and be sincere in order to have respect given in return. And one more thing, I love some very special people and they love me in return: I could hope for nothing more in my life. And most of all I love my parents for the lessons they taught me that made me what I am today.

What I think is the number one issue facing Caymanian youth today
Some things never seem to change for as a youth myself I faced the very same issues that today's youth face - how involved were my parents in my life? I do believe that parents who are loving, caring and constantly involved in their children's lives and who demonstrate in their own lives character traits worthy of emulation, can provide for our youth that for which they yearn.
