Community Service Activities Planned for 2011

1) SATC – work project for January. Install attic storage ladder and wire in electricity. Lead – Doug Murray and Christine Cartenegna

2) SATC – end of January early February - Afternoon at Movies. Lead – Doug Murray

3) Art @ Govenors – Set for Saturday, February 5th. Initial meeting held with organizing committee at Governor’s Square. Rotary Sunrise will provide hamburgers, chips and water for approximately 80 Artists and other Volunteers.  RS has committed $1,000. Lead – Kim

4) Darkness to Light Training – February – David Watler

5) ISTAT Machine and supplies for GT Hospital – cost USD $12,702.81. RS allocated - CI$5,000 and Genesis Trust CI$5,000 which will assist in paying for the machine. Funding required for a second machine - CPAP. The cost CI $8,000. Funding potentially from Caring for Life Foundation, AON ($2K) and possibly a matching grant.

6) New Project – Guardhouse Hill and Park – Bodden Town. Volunteers and possibly funding needed for restoration. National Trust along with the Bodden Town Community Action Group, along with tour companies have expressed interest in fixing this up. Lead – Kim

7) New Project – Truth for Youth School request – Park Benches. Lead – Kim
