Cake Sale

Many of the items were donated by her classmates in Year 2 at Cayman Prep. Miss Lisa's class 2C really helped with lots of cakes, and appeared at the event, last Saturday, to buy the cakes and lemonade! Two boys from Montessori by the Sea helped as well - as did neighbors from Little Trotters. The average age of the children is 6 to 7. Before the sale, Annabel, Connor Childs, Kaden Hirok and Joshua McField made signs and took them around South Sound advertising the Bake Sale. Many of the neighbors came out on the day with baked goods to sell, and bought some to take home. Lily Gammage, Frankie Lindsay, Emily Link and Teagan Galloway all worked hard, selling the goods and holding the signs, their Mums also helped a lot! Originally the sale was meant to be from 2 to 4 but they sold until after 5.00pm trying to completely sell out. A group of the children called at the Rotary SUNRISE breakfast meeting today, Wednesday 27th Jan, and gave President Winston Connolly $1150.00 to be added to the $19,100.00 the club had already collected for the Haiti disaster fund.
