Marco Calleja, CAIAChapter Executive – CAIA Cayman Islands | CAIA Member since 2010
Marco Calleja, CA, CAIA has been a CAIA member since 2010 and played an active role in the foundation of CAIA Cayman Islands. Marco’s current role is Partner in EY’s Wealth and Asset Management sector - Financial Service Office (FSO). Marco has over 13 years of experience of which the last 9 years working with alternative investment managers, hedge funds, private equity and wealth management clients. Marco is currently responsible for financial statement assurance engagements for large hedge funds, emerging manager funds and private equity funds across a vast array of investment strategies investing in a wide spectrum of asset classes, as well as working with investment managers’ organization control environments and SOC reporting. Marco also works with clients in an advisory capacity on regulatory compliance and hedge fund operational matters.
Marco graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in finance and accounting, from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Marco also holds designations and licenses with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants (CISPA).
Jeffrey Goddard, CAIAChapter Executive – CAIA Cayman Islands | CAIA Member since 2011C
Jeffrey Goddard, CAIA has been a CAIA member since 2011 and is a founding member of the CAIA Cayman Islands chapter. Jeff is currently an Associate Director at ManagementPlus Group, a boutique firm which provides Fund Governance and additional services to alternative investment funds. Previously, Jeff served as a Vice President of Business Strategy at State Street Alternative Investment Solutions in New York and the Cayman Islands. Jeff also served as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in New York and the Cayman Islands where he worked for 9 years in various progressive Investor Relations, Treasury Operations, Client Onboarding, and Product Development roles.
Jeff holds an MBA from Manchester Business School in the UK and a post-graduate certificate in International Management from McGill University in Canada. Jeff is also an Accredited Director (Acc.Dir.) from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) of Canada and a Member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association (CIDA).
