The Sarge Departs... Long Live the Team!

The passing of July may have marked the end of an era in Rotary Sunrise history. For at least the remainder of this Rotary year, there will no longer be a single Sergeant to hiss into action at the end of each weekly meeting. Instead, this year’s original Sergeant-at-Arms Bryan, who is leaving Cayman for a new opportunity in the U.S., will be replaced by not one, not two, but EIGHT Sergeants on a rotating schedule.
Although this is a new concept for our Sunrise club, PP Roger White assures us that the concept has worked successfully for the St. Thomas club in USVI.
We will certainly miss Sergeant Bryan’s inimitable wit and wisdom, but we can still look forward to the variety promised by the Sergeant-at-Arms Team. (Photo by Rotarian Geoff.)
