Sunrise Dominates RLI Classes

With half of all the attendees coming from the Rotary Sunrise club for this year’s Grand Cayman Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI), it’s clear which club is serious about learning more about Rotary. Even POTENTIAL Sunrisers were in attendance to gain greater insights into  the largest professional service organization in the world.

Of the 32 people receiving RLI certificates, 16 were associated with the Sunrise club, 5 were from the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman, 4 were from the Brac club, 3 were from the Central Club, 2 from the Grand Cayman club, and 2 were from Rotaract Blue. Nine people graduated from the RLI program by completing the Level 3 class and 23 completed RLI Levels 1 and 2.

The trainers were a star-studded group that included PDG Alastair Paterson, PDG Phil Lustig, PDG Randy Rawiszer, PDG Larry Ladabie, Dir. Jeff Warlick, and our own President Michael.

Only one weekend of RLI training is scheduled for Cayman each year, so those who missed their opportunity to gain insights and inspiration this month will either have to wait until next August or fly overseas to participate in one of the classes listed at www.rlitraining.org.
