Sunrise Contributes to Haitian Cholera Fund...

As noted by President Michael: "We are extremely fortunate that the hurricane season is all but over and we have been spared damage this year. But our brothers and sisters in Haiti seem to have been inflicted with one disaster after another. While still facing enormous challenges after the devastating earthquake in January, they are now being ravaged by cholera."

On Saturday, Past RI Director Barry Rassin sent out a request that Rotarians throughout District 7020 contribute to a matching funds challenge of $100,000 to assist our fellow Rotarians in Haiti battle the cholera epidemic.  In response, our Sunrise Club has pledged US$5,000 (CI$4,100) to help meet this challenge.
