Return of the Happy Dollars
Share Some Good News with a Positive Fine
As you can see below, in an article from the July 7, 2010 edition of the Rotary Sun, the Happy Dollar has a storied place in Rotary history as a way to get members talking beyond their closest table mates about what’s new in their lives, their jobs and the Cayman community.
The fines levied in Rotary Clubs help each club do good things, so it’s only right that the coffers should be built up by sharing some good news. Fines can be about more than missteps, barbs and late arrivals.
So get those dollars ready a little earlier in the meeting and tell us something that’s made you happy during the past week.
