Cork Sniffers Delight!
There is a remarkable write-up in the December issue of Cayman's local Guide - What's Hot - about the recently refurbished Osetra Bay restaurant at Morgans Harbour. They mention the innovative and famous Chef Watters and his superb French cuisine and the fact that it is probably the only restaurant in Cayman that serves candy floss sometimes called cotton candy as a sugar buzz. What they fail to mention and this is a serious oversight, is that wine cork sniffers are specially catered for with a wine cork holder on every table.
Everybody knows that Rotary SUNRISE members are very expert and experienced wine cork sniffers and how we have managed without wine cork sniffing holders, for so long, is beyond me. I rarely recommend restaurants in Cayman because we have so many good ones, but Osetra Bay really is exceptional.
Food, service and ambience are first class and not over expensive - you can even hear conversation at your table - they seem to have defeated the common problem in Cayman restaurants of the background noise.
SUNRISE Rotarian cork sniffers will rejoice - worth the trip through West Bay - go forth and enjoy. Happy sniff-in.
