HONDURAS WEEKEND EXPERIENCE 

Surging through the jungle, the turquoise Río Cangrejal is rightly renowned as Central America's premier rafting experience. Even if you've zero intention of dipping an oar in its foaming waters, the region makes a stunning base for all manner of adventure sports, birdwatching or just chilling by the river. The scenery is spectacular and the air is mountain-fresh!  Come relish the beauty that our Sunrise volunteers enjoy on medical trips to the Cangrejal river region and take the opportunity to meet, first hand, some of our students, instructors and the doctors who care for them.  We can arrange forest walking tours facilitated by our very own Guaruma trained guides who would be delighted to share with you the beauty of the region.

Cayman Airways flights (GCM/La Ceiba/GCM) approx US$375.00 return, with accommodation either at Villas Pico Bonito (nice pool and bar) or La Villa de Soledad (no pool but lots of hammocks and great breakfasts included) approx US$100 per night per room.   Both accommodations are situated beside the beautiful Rio Cangrejal.

Transportation to from airport will be provided at an additional per person cost.
