Focus Group for Interact Club

We will be conducting a focus group exercise pertaining to the start up of the Interact Club of Grand Cayman. Interact clubs are sponsored by Rotary clubs around the world and similar to EarlyAct and Rotaract clubs, they cater to a specific youth age, 12 – 18 years. All Rotarians and Rotaractors who are interested in participating are welcome to join us this Saturday 17 January from 10am to noon at the ALT conference room. Special thank you to Rotarian Berna for booking the room for our use. From early survey numbers results indicated appropriately 25 Rotarians and Rotaractors are keen to be involved. This is a joint club initiative where all three Rotary clubs and the two Rotaract clubs have shown an interest.

The focus group will cover an overview of what is Interact, how to ensure a successful Interact club in Grand Cayman and explore best practices based on the RI handbook for Interact clubs. This will be accomplished by having break out groups focusing in on specific areas of concern that will then be summarized to the entire group. Action steps will emerge from this focus group exercise and a joint subcommittee of members from all clubs will be the driving force for the start up and charter of the first Interact Club of Grand Cayman.
