Politics for 2020 Election
Jul 11, 2019 12:00 PM
John Dadian has worked in government and the political arena. In government, he was Deputy County Supervisor for Los Angeles and here locally he was Chief of Staff to County Supervisor Susan Golding. Since leaving government he has chaired numerous public commissions. He has been involved in numerous national, state and local elections. He started his lobbying firm more than two decades ago. He was named one of the 50 People to Watch by San Diego Magazine and one of San Diego’s Most Influentials by San Diego Rostra. When the national publication Money Magazine ran an article about government’s retirement plans, it stated, “Clearly, Hartford Life's efforts to sway the board--which included hiring John Dadian, former chief of staff to San Diego's mayor, as a lobbyist on the 457 issue--had paid off.” When the San Diego Union Tribune ran an in-depth article about the problems with lobbying regulations in San Diego, John was featured on the front page as one of the few lobbyists advocating for stronger and fairer regulations. He is a frequent commentator on the national and local news shows as a political expert in the fields of local government and political consulting. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the East County Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Trustees of the Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial. A graduate of San Francisco State University, he is a Marine Corps Veteran.
Dadian & Associates is a San Diego-based company founded in 1992. Using a unique blend of private sector entrepreneurial endeavor coupled with a longstanding commitment to public service, John Dadian facilitates positive interaction among community organizations, the media community, governmental agencies and elective offices. Overall, we offer a complete public relations program that includes the key elements of governmental relations, media relations, and community relations. While these elements are crucial for a successful campaign, the most important factor is strategic planning. A house will always be poorly built if you don’t start with a good foundation. Dadian & Associates services will enhance and complement the duties of your full-time staff. As your strategic consulting firm, our duty will be to advise on your actions, make recommendations at all levels, develop other avenues of communication and constantly provide the outside perspective
