Dr. Sean Hancock is the Vice Chancellor of Student and Institutional Success at the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District In this role, Hancock leads the departments of Research Planning & Institutional Effectiveness, Information Technology Services, and Community & Workforce Development. In addition, Hancock coordinates districtwide educational services in support of student learning and success. 

Hancock began his professional career at San Joaquin Valley College in 1999. He served 10 years as Director/CEO of the Modesto Campus at the college. In 2014, he joined Palo Verde College as Vice President of Instruction and Student Services. Hancock is an alumnus of the College of the Sequoias, and earned a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational development from Fresno Pacific University. He received an MBA from TUI University, and a doctorate in educational administration from University of the Pacific.
