A HUGE THANK YOU! We are still floating on air from last night’s annual Pints for Polio event at R Place on 590! A massive thank you to everyone in our community who came out to raise a glass, sing their hearts out, and support a truly global cause.

Two years in a row you played an integral role in the success of our event and we are forever thankful for you and to know you! Because of all your generosity and support, we raised over $1,000 for Rotary’s PolioPlus Foundation! 
(And thanks to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s 2-to-1 match for Rotary PolioPlus donations, that $1,000+ turns into over $3,000 in actual funding for vaccines and field efforts!)
Why This Matters Worldwide: Rotary made a promise to the children of the world in 1985 to eradicate polio globally. Since launching PolioPlus, Rotary and its global partners have: Reduced polio cases worldwide by 99.9%.
Helped immunize over 3 billion children across 122 countries. Brought the disease down from endemic in 125 countries to just two.
Until polio is completely eradicated everywhere, no child is safe, and events like Pints for Polio help fund the final, vital push to end this disease forever.
