💪 Help End Polio — Rotary’s #1 Priority

Rotary District 7410 is proud to support Rotary International’s mission to eradicate polio worldwide. Thanks to your efforts, we are making a difference both locally and globally — and the end is truly in sight.

🌍 Global Progress: A Polio-Free Pakistan Within Reach

Pakistan, once reporting over 20,000 polio cases annually, is on the brink of eliminating the virus completely. Targeted immunization campaigns, strong government support, and over 225,000 frontline health workers — many of them women — have driven this historic progress.

Thanks to surveillance networks across 127 sites and high vaccination rates, Pakistan hasn’t detected the YB3C virus cluster since November 2023. With continued global support, including from Rotary, this may be the year Pakistan stops polio for good.

“Together, we can ensure that no child ever suffers from polio again.” – Aziz Memon, Chair, National PolioPlus Committee, Pakistan
