Rotary District 7410 proudly represents over 1,100 Rotarians across 41 active clubs spanning 10 counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania. United in our mission, each club is making a meaningful impact both locally and globally through service, leadership, and fellowship.

π Welcome, Tim Genetti!
Rotary District 7410 proudly welcomes Tim Genetti of the Hazleton Rotary Club as our 2025β2026 District Governor! A dedicated Rotarian since 1999 and club president in 2014β15, Tim brings energy, experience, and a passion for people to the role.
π¬ Timβs Focus This Year: Fun!
βLetβs not forget to enjoy Rotary. I believe in the power of positivity, friendship, and fun. When we enjoy what we do, we inspire others to join us.β
Tim is the second Hazleton Rotarian to serve as District Governor, following Dr. Victor Greco in 1980β81. His Banner Exchange was held at the Valley Country Club, where he was also inducted into the Ballard Society for his commitment to clean water projects.

π Leadership Recognized Across the District
District Governor Tim Genetti was honored as a Distinguished Citizen for his continued leadership, service, and commitment to Rotary and the community. Rotarians across the district also gathered in Gettysburg for the multi-district conference focused on fellowship, leadership, and the future of Rotary.
π€ Membership Growth & Community Visibility
Clubs throughout the district continued welcoming new members and finding creative ways to connect with their communities through public events, outreach efforts, and service projects. The district also emphasized the importance of public image and visibility as a key part of Rotaryβs future growth.
π Supporting Students & Future Leaders
Rotary clubs across Northeastern Pennsylvania continued investing in local students through essay contests, scholarships, leadership development, and youth-focused initiatives including RYLA and Interact programs.
π Service That Reaches Beyond Our Communities
District 7410 remains committed to Rotary Internationalβs fight to eradicate polio, continuing awareness and fundraising efforts through the PolioPlus Society and district-wide education initiatives.

πͺ Help End Polio β Rotaryβs #1 Priority
Rotary District 7410 proudly supports Rotary Internationalβs mission toβ―eradicate polio globally. Weβre making progressβbut the virus remains a threat.
π Global & Pakistan Update (Midβ2025)
- As of midβJuly 2025, there have been 18 wild poliovirusβ―typeβ―1 cases globallyβ14 in Pakistan and 4 in Afghanistan.
- Pakistan recorded 11β―wild cases so far in 2025, including a recent case in GilgitβBaltistanβits first in seven years.
- Pakistan environmental surveillance detected WPV1 in 20 districts across 28 sewage samples (MayβJune 2025), highlighting gaps in vaccination coverage.
- In April campaigns, over 60,900 oral vaccine refusals were recorded (37,000 in Karachi alone).
- Saudi Arabia recently pledged $500β―million to support eradication efforts targeting Pakistan and Afghanistan, helping move us toward ending wild polio by 2027.
Though cases are fewer than in 2024, we remain vulnerableβespecially in areas with low immunization and rising vaccine hesitancy. Your involvement matters more than ever.
