Rotary Structure at a glance
Manon Mitchell

Rotary Clubs span more countries than the United Nations! These clubs are where magic happens as members gather for fellowship and service projects. Rotary International, with its global reach, supports clubs through a structured system of leadership and mechanisms to ensure impactful community service. With this kind of global reach, you can be sure that there is a support structure to ensure club vibrancy and impact to the community.

Orientation Sessions for NEW Members
Manon Mitchell

Our Zone Coordinator (Louisa Horne) has set up Orientation for NEW Members Sessions
Mark your calendar for either of these 2 dates:

No registration is required. Just click on the links on the dates above and you'll get to the information you need to join the meeting.

These sessions are NOT recorded as the intention is to do “live” sessions. We think it is valuable for new members to see that there are new members across the zone and to get a sense of the bigger picture of Rotary. We encourage you to use the presentations as a first step in the orientation process. Other members may enjoy this session as a refresher.

Upcoming Zone events are listed on the ZONE website here.

COG Editor Stepping Down
Manon Mitchell

After over 2 years in the position of Editor, I have to step away from this role as my role of District Governor Elect is now requiring more of my time. If you have a passion for being in the know and love sharing stories, this position is for you. You would be joining the great team of Diane Macdonald, Doug McMillan and Ebenezer Mensa. Together, this team makes the COG happen every 2 weeks. There are many people who provide articles on a regular basis so the job is more about inserting the stories in the COG rather than writing them. This position comes with lots of support and I'll spend time with you ensuring you know exactly how to add great stories from our club. Please contact me as soon as possible so we can cross train and ensure smooth transition.
When is the COG published?
Manon Mitchell

You can find past issues on our website under Members > COG Bulletins

If you'd like to have us publish an article or have an idea about what we should be publishing, please forward your ideas to Manon or Diane by the FRIDAY before the Tuesday publication date.
You are also welcome to contact either Manon or Diane to discuss any idea you may have.

Here are the publication dates for the first half on 2025:

Feb 4, 18
Mar 4, 18
Apr 1, 15, 29
May 6, 20
June 3, 17

If you enjoy reading the COG, let us know because your comments are the only way we know we are hitting the mark and it is our reward!
