A Message from Our President

Welcome to the Laguna Sunrise Rotary Club!

I am honored to serve as President for the 2026–2027 Rotary year and excited to invite you to experience what makes our club so special.

This year, our club theme is "Be the Light," inspired by the belief that each of us has the ability to make a difference in the lives of others. Sometimes being the light means leading a service project. Sometimes it means mentoring a young person, welcoming a new member, lending a helping hand, or simply offering kindness and encouragement when someone needs it most. When each of us chooses to be the light, together we create lasting impact in our community and beyond.

Rotary International's theme, "Create Lasting Impact," reminds us that meaningful change doesn't happen by chance. It happens when people with different backgrounds, experiences, and talents come together with a shared desire to serve. That spirit of collaboration is what makes Rotary so rewarding.

Our members are business owners, professionals, retirees, community leaders, and friends who believe that service is more meaningful when we do it together. We enjoy building relationships, supporting local organizations, developing future leaders, and participating in projects that improve lives both locally and around the world. We also believe Rotary should be a place where people feel welcomed, valued, and inspired to contribute in ways that are meaningful to them.

Whether you’re looking to give back, expand your network, develop leadership skills, or simply connect with people who care about making a difference, I invite you to visit one of our meetings. We’d love the opportunity to get to know you, share breakfast, and show you what Rotary is all about.

Laguna Sunrise Rotary is proud to announce it's Sponsorship of the newest Troops in Elk Grove, Troop 255 for Boys and Troop 255 for Girls.

August 9, 2023, was a tragic day for our Rotarians, families and friends on the Island of Maui. The fires across the island have changed lives forever. Truly devastating. Our sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted.

Many of you have asked how we can serve. See the attached flyer that has the QR code for the D5000 Maui Fire Relief Fund, and instructions on how we can assist our friends. Donations can be made via PayPal, Debit or Credit cards.
