Kohl's Shopping Spree is one of many ways community organizations come together to support students in the Elk Grove Unified School District. Laguna Sunrise Rotary showed up with several chaperones. The club and members supported 10 of the 100 students who received school supplies and new clothes. The Soroptimists provided backpacks, the Elk Grove Lions provided a pancake breakfast and the Elk Grove Optimists provided eye exams as well as organized the entire event!!!

Applications are due by March 4th to Angela Spease. You can download the application here. The speech must be between 5 and 8 minutes.

We are lucky to have a club of 50 members who are committed to Service Above Self and making our community's needs our #1 priority. ANITRA'S CURRY "TOASTETTES"
1-2 small cans sliced ripe olives
3 or so green onions, sliced
1 c mayonnaise
2 t curry
1 c grated cheese, cheddar or mixed
sliced baguette
Mix, and spread on sliced baguette, bake 8-10 minutes at 400. (These freeze well, by the way.)
