Membership Robyn gave members instruction on the purpose of the Alice roster. It allows an opportunity for Alice to get to know members other than the at weekly meetings. In summary the host family for the period are not responsible for organising or changing the roster. How it works is for your nominated week you can organise to meet up with Alice for an activity such as a cafe or dinner meet, or other activity. Just let the host family for the period know hat is planned. If you can't be available for your nominated week then organise with another member but let the host family know of any changes.

Past President and treasurer bob gave an overview of the large amount of work done to bring the treasury up to standard. Invoicing has been improved for dues and wall calendar advertising. The wall calendar has brought in good funds with only $9,000 to be collected for this year. Statement will be sent after the 18th December to remind outstanding accounts.
The program has been structured well to make its use very easy and auditable. It takes only a few times per week to keep it up to date. However we need a succession plan for the next treasurer or should the Treasurer be otherwise indisposed. We need one or two people to train during the next 18 months to become familiar with the program and processes needed to fulfill the treasurer role. members are asked to seriously consider this vital role and volunteer to be trained as relief or the next Treasurer.

Eric gave the club some insights into some of the reasons for particular age groups characteristics and outlook on being involved with Rotary and associations in general. Data (the pyramid) was presented showing the totals and ratio of Australian males and females for a set of ages.
The generational groupings covered some of the reasons and motivations of personal and group involvement. The message was that each group has different needs and wants; it is necessary to emphasise that Rotary provides different benefits to different age groups; and, we need to sell those benefits to the right person at the right time. The meeting thanked Eric for a very informative report.
