Successful Fundraising Posted by Sarah Conaway on Oct 27, 2014 We have had two very successful fundraisers over the past couple of months. The first was our annual Golf Tournament in which we raised over $8,000 that will go towards the scholarships that we award each year. Secondly, we raised over $360 at the Bellevue Pantry Food Drive which was held on October 18th at Bakers in Twin Creek. Gregory Fripp from Whispering Roots Visits Posted on Dec 09, 2013 A special thanks to Gregory Fripp, founder of Whispering Roots who shared with our club on December 10th about aquaponics. Aquaponics is the combination of Aquaculture (Raising fish) and Hydroponics (Growing plants in liquid instead of soil). We pump the water (effluent) from our fish tanks into our plant grow beds. The resort-style community will have independent living and assisted living apartments along with a saltwater pool, cinema, hobby shop, dining venues, pub, performing arts center, and much more.
