Gregory Fripp from Whispering Roots Visits

A special thanks to Gregory Fripp, founder of Whispering Roots who shared with our club on December 10th about aquaponics.  Aquaponics is the combination of Aquaculture (Raising fish) and Hydroponics (Growing plants in liquid instead of soil). We pump the water (effluent) from our fish tanks into our plant grow beds. The fish effluent becomes the fertilizer for the plants! The plants love the natural fertilizer!! They grow big, green and healthy!
